If you hold down the Control key when creating a new Ecco file it will not include all of the extra folders and items. It is the cleanest way to create a new file! (Roger Peters July 2002) The .ECG file is used for synchronizing ecco data between Synchronized Ecco files. If you put the ECG file on the internet you can synchronize your Ecco file from anywhere in the world! I know this works, I use it all the time! (Roger Peters July 2002) If you have a Synchronized Ecco file and a shared network file from that same ECC file you can disallow anyone on a networked file from seeing items on the networked file by making the items private (Roger Peters July 2002)
